1. Open PayPal.com in a web browser. You can only change your password on the website, not in the mobile app.
2. Click the Settings icon (the gear at the top right of the window).
3. Click “Security” to switch to the Security tab.
4. Click “Password.”
5. Enter your current password and then enter the new password you want to use.
6. Click “Change Password.”

If you can’t log into your PayPal account maybe because you forgot your password you can reset it.
1. Open PayPal.com in a web browser.
2. Click “Log In” at the top right of the screen.
3. Click “Having trouble logging in?”
Follow the instructions. You can either enter your email address and click “Next” to get a password reset email, or if you don’t know what email address is associated with your account, click “Forgot your email?”
