WhatsApp, Facebook & Instagram Has Been Shutdown Worldwide

Social Media apps Facebook, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram are currently experiencing downtime across the globe.  

The three apps, all owned by American media magnate, internet entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Mark Elliot Zuckerberg completely stopped working shortly around 5:00 p.m. Nigeria time.

Other applications affiliated to the social media company such as Facebook Workplace also stopped working.

Mark Zuckerberg Said 

“We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible,”

At the time of filing this report, many users are experiencing issues including being unable to log in, messages failing to deliver or utilising the apps’ numerous other functions.

Instagram is showing a server error while Facebook has an error for users trying to login. WhatsApp has failed to load.
