Spotify users have been expressing their disappointment after many complained that the app was not working properly.
Some decided to come to Twitter in the hope that they would be able to find a solution.
USERS COMPLAIN AS SPOTIFY KEEPS STOPPING
On December 9, people took to Twitter to reveal that they had been facing problems with their Spotify as the app would stop working and abruptly stop.
Many even tagged Spotify in the hope of getting a response. One user wrote: “Fix the app, music keeps stopping after a song,” while tagging the brand.
Another added: “My Spotify keeps stopping after a minute and it’s pissing me off.”
“Anyone else’s Spotify acting funny today? Mine keeps stopping songs randomly,” read another comment. “My Spotify just keeps stopping my music it’s so annoying,” wrote another disappointed user.
THE APP HAD ISSUES WITH LYRICS AS WELL
The news about Spotify not working properly comes a day after it was reported that the lyrics were not appearing on the app.
Several people had taken to social media and noted that the lyrics of their favorite songs did not appear and it made their experience unpleasant.
Spotify was quick to rectify this problem and noted that users had to update their app to make sure everything works normally.
Most of the time, apps tend to bring out updates to make sure that the bug is fixed. While the brand has not responded as to why some of the users might be facing issues with their Spotify stopping, users can try to update their apps.
HOW TO UPDATE THE APP
To update the phone on an iOS system, you can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open the App Store.
- Tap your Apple ID image in the top right corner.
- Find Spotify, and tap UPDATE.
To set it to automatic update, follow the below steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap iTunes & App Store.
- Switch App Updates on.
Android users can update the app as follows:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Use the search bar to find Spotify.
- Tap UPDATE.
For setting an automatic update, do the following:
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search Spotify.
- Tap the three dots in the top right.
- Check Auto-update
