Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji, professionally known as Ola Dips, is a fast growing indigenous rapper and songwriter who was born on March 24th 1995, in Ogun State Nigeria. Ola Dips grew up with his parents in Ogun State. Ola Dips is still not very popular, but he is currently one of the fastest growing rappers in Nigeria who has a couple of successes that have been well received.

He obtained his first school leaving certificate and his west Africa senior school certificate in Ogun state of Nigeria. After Completing his primsry and secondary school education in Ogun State, He proceeded to the University of Jos where he graduated with first class degree in Economics.

The fast growing Nigerian rapper was first known after winning the “King is here” contest by D’banj, this award earned him a record deal with “Edge Records”, a record label owned by the first Nigerian rapper in this moment, Reminisce. The Edge Records signed Ola Dips, also known as Omo Iya Aje, performed live on numerous large stages, which also gave him the luxury of performing with other big stars of the Nigerian music industry.

Currently, Ola Dips is not signed into any record label. In 2019, he dumped the LRR record label following an issue he had with his former boss, Reminisce, owner of the music record label LLR.

Ola dips alleged that he used to be responsible for all my wins, but now it feels like somebody cut his wings. He said he was being sapped in the record label and he termed the deal “fraudulent”. Ola dips left the LRR record label with N23,000 in his account.
