Menomonee Falls Parade Accident: 1 person dead, another injured: Two pedestrians were struck late Sunday night, July 3, 2022, in a Pick ‘n Save parking lot.

Shortly after 10 p.m., the Menomonee Falls Police Department responded to a crash in the Pick ‘n Save parking lot on Appleton Avenue. The initial report stated that a vehicle struck a large number of people.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that a driver had lost control of their vehicle and struck two adult subjects.

A 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman who are siblings from North Carolina suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment.

The 24-year-old man died as a result of his injuries. The 25-year-old woman is being treated for potentially fatal injuries.

An 18-year-old Germantown woman was driving the vehicle, which had two juvenile passengers.

There does not appear to be any involvement of alcohol or drugs. Several law enforcement agencies were dispatched to assist with traffic control, witness interviews, and the crash investigation.

The Menomonee Falls Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol are still investigating the crash.
