Tamara Smart Resident Evil’s Plot Explored
Despite these flaws, the narrative and story of the Netflix adaptation are still engaging and exciting. The series’ concentration on thoughtless gore and bloodshed helps to keep viewers at a distance from the characters. It’s quite possible that Resident Evil will make you care about the characters rather than focusing on zombie thrills.
When comparing Netflix’s Resident Evil to other live-action remakes, the film outperforms in terms of computer-generated imagery and special effects. The jolts are not constant, but the Zeroes and other bad guys are enough to make your skin crawl on rare occasions.
However, the actors who portray the characters are fantastic and convincing, especially Reddick as Albert Wesker. It’s not the same Albert who died in 2009 according to the games, but he’s still a formidable adversary for Chris. The series does answer why Wesker is there, and Lance Reddick does an excellent job expressing it.
