Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has continued his dominance in football as he sets another record in the Catalonia club’s victory over Huesca in their La Liga match on Monday night.
Lionel Messi’s wonder goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League might not have helped them qualify for the next round of the competition but the Argentine was on fire against Huesca.
The six-time Balloon d’Or winner scored a brace in the match against Huesca to take his goals for the season to 21 goals.
Lionel Messi in the process set a new record as he became the only player in La Liga history to reach 20 La Liga goals in 13 consecutive seasons.
The Argentine has also been a provider for his teammates as he’s only 1 assist less than Diego Aspas who leads the list of most assists.
Messi will hope to continue the good form as Barcelona is just four points behind Atletico Madrid who are on top of the league.
