He is also a singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor. However, he is widely recognized as a drummer. He is also the lead singer of the rock band Genesis from 1970 to 1996.

Also, he has had a successful solo career in the 1980s and 1990s with hits like In The Air Tonight, Sussudio, and One More Night. Six months ago, he opened up about his illness in one of the interviews with BBC Breakfast which has since then raised concerns on social media.

Phil Collins fans are incredibly concerned about his illness after he opened up about his deteriorating health.

In an interview, he mentioned that he can “barely hold a drumstick”. He added up saying that he is physically challenged. According to HITC, he damaged his vertebrae.

Additionally, he also seemed to have dealt with many health problems and sicknesses during his career. In 2007, whilst touring with Genesis, he injured the vertebrae in his neck which led to severe nerve damage- the reason why he can’t drum anymore.

Following that, he underwent surgery in 2009 to repair the issue. However, this only made it worse causing him to lose feeling in his fingers. Cut to 2021, he’s now almost completely unable to use his hands.  Besides these, he has also had suffered many other illnesses. In 2017, he had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and developed a diabetic abscess on his foot, per the report.

Likewise, he also suffers from acute pancreatitis.

However, there is barely any information about the drummer on the internet. Judging from his social media account, he seems to be inactive since March 10, 2021.

Furthermore, he seems to be currently out of the media’s reach and therefore it is not known he is right now.
