She was born Thea Alexis Samper on a military base in Panama on May 25, 1985. She spent her early childhood in Castroville, Texas. She is of German, Puerto Rican, and Norwegian ancestry. For her higher education, Texas went to Texas State University, where she earned an associate’s degree in respiratory care therapy. Subsequently, she worked at a restaurant.
